Now that things have finally settled down I can catch up on some of the fun we have been having over here at The Bright Household. Most notably, the newest voxbox I got from Influenster.
This is my second voxbox from Influenster. I received the Sunkissed voxbox earlier and was super excited to hear I would be getting the Rose Voxbox. There is nothing like coming home to a box full of goodies (especially a box of free goodies!)
It's like being a big kid at Christmas, so I wasted no time and dove right in.
Jam packed inside were so many goodies, especially for a beauty buff like me. Inside I had:

So after trying everything I certainly have a few opinions:
- First of all I devoured the Lindt Truffle while I was checking out the other stuff int he box. Seriously it made it all of one full minute after opening the box. It was stinking delicious. I've had their truffles before; hubby stuffs my stocking with the white chocolate version each year. They are so delicious it is not even funny. The outside is a firm but not hard chocolate shell and the inside is a cool almost melted chocolate center. I love them. Score: 10/10
- I was really excited to try the Kiss Gradiation Kit. It looked like it would be gorgeous, but I never have any luck with nail kits. The instructions seemed easy enough. Three simple steps:
How could I mess that up right? Right?!
Seriously so easy even I couldn't mess it up. It really did look gorgeous and I got a lot of compliments at work about them. I had a surprisingly large amount of people ask me where I got them done. The only downside was that they did chip really easily and since the polishes are applied on top of each other while wet, they kind of flaked off in sheets.
Score: 7/10
- I had really high hopes for the Dr.Scholls Cozy Cushions. I received a gel insert in my last box and loved it. This one...not so much.
Full disclosure I received this box in the beginning of October when it was still ridiculously hot. Not exactly the time to slap fuzzy inserts into your boots. I like that they came customizable. You cut them to your own shoe size which is nice for those of us with weird inbetween sizes. They were really soft and they did add a pretty plump layer of cushioning. However, that layer was a bit much at least in my boots. It made for a snugger fit than I would have liked. I have yet to try them in my winter boots, but I bet they would live up to the name cozy.

- I cannot say enough good things about the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara. I've been a fan of Rimmel for years and was so happy to see this in my box. I have pretty light eyelashes. I'm naturally a blonde and that does not help when I want big thick dark lashes. This mascara, however, does.
It seriously plumped up my natural lashes. As a plus it didn't really clump and it gave that vintage big movie siren eye without a lot of work or too many applications. The only downside I could see was that it did start to flake off a bit at the end of the day. Still, looking like a glamor puss for a night on the town made it more than worth it.

- I had never heard about Belvita before this Voxbox and I was more than a little nervous. When I think of a breakfast bar I think of something chewy and filling and not a thin biscuit. I was not at all looking forward to trying this. Boy was I wrong!
These taste like fresh blueberries. Like the freshest blueberries you can find. They are super flavorful and not at all dry like I thought a breakfast "biscuit" would be. Four come in each pack and they are surprisingly filling. They got me all the way from breakfast at 4 a.m. until lunch at 1 p.m. They gave me a ton of energy and I really didn't have that snack craving that usually hits me mid day. I liked them so much I went out an bought a big box right after. I have them for breakfast during the week with me tea. I love them! Extra bonus: if you like a chewy breakfast they have those too!

- I was really excited about being chose to try out the Vitabath hydrating lotion. Only a select few boxes had them included, and I was one of the lucky ones.
Plus I have constantly dry skin, so I am always on the lookout for new moisturizers. I was given the Pomegranate & Blood Orange scent. It smells amazing. Like someone just peeled a blood orange, citrusy and awakening. It goes on smooth and doesn't leave any of that grease or film that some lotions do. It is definitely moisturizing! I hate having to apply lotion over and over again, with this I didn't have that problem. I put it on once after a shower and I am good to go until bed time. I love everything about it and will definitely be buying more when this wears out.
Score: 10/10All and all, I liked everything in the box. I love being able to try all of these things out and I can't wait to get another voxbox in to share with you guys.
