Adam
My name is Adam. I'm kind of an oddball, but luckily for me Bee seems to find this endearing. I love basketball, video games, playing with the puppies, trying my hand at cooking, and chasing my wife around the house. I'm a former Marine, which is a source of great pride for me (and even more so for Bee :) ). And current firefighter, which I love.
I consider myself to be a very lucky man for having such an amazing wife, and look forward to writing this little blog with her.
Bee
My name is Bee. I am an office manager and wannabee pasty chef who loves anything creative and a little different. I am definitely one of those people they describe as "marching to the beat of her own drum".
I love painting, cooking, but especially baking. If you can't find me I am probably in the kitchen. I love trying out new recipes mainly because I love to eat! I will try just about anything once. I like to crochet but I am terrible at knitting. I love taking photos and update my photoblog regularly. I am into fashion though I try not to let anyone else's ideas define me or my style. In my free time I like reading, discovering new music, crafting, adventuring, and hanging out with good friends, family or my hubby.
Evie
Evie is a two and a half year old Jack Russell/Basenji mix from Yanceyville, NC. When she was just a little puppy her previous owner abandoned her and two of her sisters on the side of the road. Some nice employees of The Animal Protection Society of Caswell County picked them up and brought them in. The second we saw her we fell in love and made a two hour drive to pick her up. She was skiddish and shy and could only be lured out by peanut butter.
A lot has changed for Evie since then. She loves playing with her ball and chewing. Since she is part Basenji she yodels when she wants to play which sounds like a throaty growl mixed with a surprised bark. She is still shy around new people but once she warms up to you she is a complete sweetheart.
Mordechai
Morty is a one and a half year old Parson Russell Terrier. Like most other Parson's, he is hyper hyper hyper. He is a bouncer and a chewer. If he gets bored he will get into trouble and we have the chewed up electronics to prove it.
One of Morty's favorite hobbies is chasing Evie around the house. He loves to play and will not stop until he is exhausted. He is also a lap dog, nothing makes him happier than a friendly lap to curl up in. He loves to chew on his Hulk toy and fetch anything you throw for him.
